COMMERCIAL ENGINEERING PROJECTS:
Best Western Sawridge Suites, Fort McMurray, Alberta
Park•Janik Consulting Engineers Inc. was appointed as a prime structural engineer to design the hotel and office buildings for Best Western in Fort McMurray.
Both buildings are 4 floors high with approx. 136,874 sq. ft of combined area.
The project was designed in concrete and steel, with underground parkade for 82 stalls.
The construction was completed in 2015.
Baitun Nur Mosque, Calgary, Alberta
Park•Janik Consulting Engineers Inc. was appointed as a prime structural engineer to design the structure for Baitun Nur Mosque in Calgary.
The project is known for being the largest mosque in Canada.
Construction started in 2005 and was completed in 2008, for the total cost of CAD$15 million.
The project is approx. 48,000 sq ft in size with a 97 feet tall steel-capped minaret tower.
University of Lethbridge, Alberta
Park•Janik Consulting Engineers Inc. was appointed to provide the structural shop drawings for Light Gauge Steel Framing Structures for the University of Lethbridge Science & Academic Building.
Our scope of work included the external LGSF walls and LGSF bleachers for the auditorium and lecture rooms.
